Terms of Return
We accept returns within 14 days from the date the item was received. To qualify for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The product must be unworn, unused, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.
- Eligibility: Returns are only accepted for incorrect or defective orders.
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind or personal preference.
- Items that have been worn, used, or altered.
- Custom or personalized orders.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits & Payments
- All deposits are non-refundable. By booking an appointment or service with Akirah Group and Co., you agree to this policy.
- Final balances must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in cancellation (see below for details).
Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Cancellations made 30+ days before the event will not be refunded but may be eligible for a service credit, redeemable for a future date.
- Cancellations made 15-30 days before the event will be offered a service credit but no refunds will be issued.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the event will not be refunded or credited.
Failure to Pay Final Balance
- If the final balance is not received 6 days before the event, the client will receive a payment reminder.
- If the balance remains unpaid 5 days before the event, a second reminder will be sent.
- If payment is not received 4 days before the event and the client is unresponsive, the reservation will be automatically cancelled without a refund, and the account may be sent to collections.
How to Initiate a Return or Cancellation
- Contact us at info@AkirahGroupandCo.com within the eligible return period.
- Provide the following details:
- Order number
- Reason for return or cancellation
- Supporting documentation (e.g., photos of incorrect items)
Once we review your request, we will guide you through the next steps.
Additional Costs & Service Adjustments
- Additional materials will be quoted separately and require client approval via signature before purchase.
- Extended service hours will be billed at $65/hour. If additional time is required, an updated estimate will be provided for approval before proceeding.
- If the client chooses to terminate services after receiving an updated time estimate, they will be billed for the consultant's time at $65/hour, with any prepaid amounts deducted from the final invoice.
Event Date Changes & Responsibility Disclaimer
- If your event date changes or is canceled for any reason, Akirah Group and Co. is not responsible for accommodating the new date. If we are unable to reschedule without undue hardship, your payment will not be refunded.
- We are not liable for any head, hair, scalp, or skin-related issues before, during, or after our services, including but not limited to alopecia, migraines, allergic reactions, or scalp sensitivity.
Respect & Professional Conduct Policy
Akirah Group and Co. maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, harmful, or inappropriate behavior. Failure to treat our team with respect may result in penalties or service cancellation without refund.
Penalty Fees for Disrespectful Behavior (Billed per Incident):
- Use of racial, gender, cultural, or sexuality slurs: $200 per word
- Body shaming: $200 per word
- Cursing: $45 per word
- Threats to injure: $500 per threat
- Threats to murder: $2,000 per threat
- Threats of sexual assault: $9,000 per threat
All incidents will be reviewed using video surveillance and billed accordingly. Clients with concerns about their service are encouraged to contact our customer service team for a tailored resolution.
Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
- Refunds do not cover shipping fees or any production costs incurred before cancellation.
